I can think of a few people we have rehired in the last few years

Good airline and great pilot group but haven't been impressed with some of their mil policies.

United used to cut off mil leave pilots, and remove them from CASS to boot, but since the CAL merger, they have changed their ways back to the likes of other legacies and not punishing military duty.

Wait--so you interview with United BEFORE starting class?

Do you get a decision from UAL before starting class?

Hmmmmm.

Hi everyone. I just recently got a phone call from CA. Very nice lady went through a 15min pre-interview, now waiting for Skype. Wonder if someone on this thread can provide some insight on that portion of the interview. Also, how does commuting for someone from the South Florida area looks like. Do I need to get a crash pad? Any comments especially from current CA pilots deeply appreciated.

Will they ask you to stand up? I'm hoping I could just wear the top half of my suit so I don't get my pants wrinkled again.

I interviewed in September. Was in person, but I bet the interview will be similar. Go to aviationinteviews.com They have a gouge that was spot on about interview. I'm expecting to commute as well and have no idea how that will work out. Spoke with a pilot from another regional that said commuting on reserve is tough but once on a line it's doable. Just gonna do the best I can.

Commuting at C5 will be significantly easier than other regionals since we have the 4 hotels a month that you can use before or after a trip or during a block of reserve days. We also have a great commuter clause where as long as you had two flights to get in, you will not get in trouble.

Gojet has them too. Would you recommend working there?
