The dash 8 training pipeline is over capacity and there is currently a 4+ week delay for ioe. Once they get that fixed they can have bigger classes. Right now they only need 14/mo to fill the jet.

Recently talked to a new FO who waited 7 weeks from his checkride to the start of IOE.

For someone hired now, what's the realistic flow time to United? like if you already have 500TPIC? Is there a large backlog of guys waiting to get in? Are a lot of guys getting shot down in the United portion of the interview or is the pass rate pretty good?

You need 1000TPIC with commutiar to be eligible to "flow"
Everyone on the seniority list as of 11/15 flows in seniority order. Everyone else flows in order of interview.
The first 10 flow later this year, its probably a safe bet it'll take 3-4 years at a min.

There aren't any published stats on guys getting in.

One that that is for sure is that the more people at C5, the more people we'll have flowing to United.

Pay from other pilots is regular pay +whatever they are willing to pay to have you cover for them. Pay from open time is regular unless its available for 1.5x pay. Generally tis is when they are short pilots and desperate to cover work, which is often as we grow and all new pilots are in training.
