You get paid for what you are scheduled. Most of our flights are overblocked (scheduled for a longer duration than what will happen) due to where we operate. So if we are scheduled for a flight from BUF to EWR to take 1.5 and it only takes 1.3, that .2 difference adds up over the entire month. So one could easily be scheduled for 100 hours but only actually log 80-90.
