Direct quote from the chief pilot a few days ago- "we are rigorously adhering to the seniority system."
If you can hold a CA bid as a new hire, you will be awarded CA.

Quick question, and I know it's all speculation but what is going to happen to the dash8s when they come off lease? The 300s in 2017 and the 200s later in 2018.. if the pilot group went to 600 and they parked those planes and just kept 40 jets would there not be massive downgrades and furloughs down to 400 pilots?

Yes the first 40 jets are firm. It also looks like they are trying to ramp up getting them on line. One mechanic I spoke with said that they were pushing for 3 new aircraft a month, instead of the 2/mo they were initially going to roll out.

Supposedly upper management said the 20 options have been exercised, but if that's true they need to announce it pretty soon.
