March is looking like a net gain of 8.

So we needed 40 and got 2, where are the retention bonuses and new attractive pay rates?
The check is in the mail.

Hope they have some sort of plan. Seniority list has grown by +4 since November of last year!

Has this affected the cpp? How many are going go United this quarter?

Zero effect on the CPP. Pilots "flow" over after they complete the requirements listed in the CPP.

Not entirely true. The number sent is based on a % of the seniority list. The fewer people we have on property, the less that can go once they're eligible

Also they mention during my interview they can lower the numbers leaving per quarter, depending on the staffing needs.

The number sent is a percentage of the UAL hiring pool not to exceed a percentage of the C5 seniority list. If the number of pilots shrinks it's due to UAL hiring less or our pilots not having met the requirements yet.

I second this. In our new hire class, the CEO said that they can adjust it for "operational needs".

I'm sure they can adjust it however they want seeing as how it's not an enforceable agreement between ALPA and the company but an agreement between the company and UA

We were averaging 11 new ERJ CAs per month in 2016. Only 5 ERJ CAs per month so far this year. Hopefully we'll see bigger classes now that the training department is catching up. Unless we're over-staffed, 5 upgrades doesn't cover two deliveries per month.
