"Several captains have left to Legacys and LLC. Many to Spirit & Frontier."
I would say that this is understated. I know of 2 to United, 1 to Delta, 2 to Frontier, 2 to Alaska and yes there is a good number to Spirit and some to JetBlue. And this is in the past few months.

The tone was that by which a bunch of sorority girls would gather round a table and scoff at other sorority girls. It was seemingly written out of spite and frustration, which defeats the entire purpose of defining professionalism. Just the classic scenario of the pot and the kettle here again.
And don't say it's no big deal, because it's a huge deal. It is once again proving that mgmt doesn't give a rat's behind about this pilot group. They continually attempt to stomp out what little morale still exists within this amazing pilot group, and then wonder why they get the answers that are written in the B.S. surveys that go out.
As far as having a problem with the memo, I haven't heard of a single pilot that was okay with it. Then again, maybe you didn't read the part about how this pilot group is "entitled". Seriously??? Entitled to what? We fly around garbage equipment with a smile on our faces because flying is what we love. That to me isn't entitlement. Perhaps that definition should have also been included in the memo to give us an idea of how we are all so entitled.
I show up to work everyday with a pressed uniform, and a positive attitude that the day will go on as planned. Even when MX and EWR throw a wrench in the schedule, I don't let it bother me. My manuals always have the current revisions in them before I step foot in the flight deck, or training center. When online training assignments are sent out, I complete them, usually within the first hour of receiving them. So as you can see, I wouldn't say I am part of the problem, but you'll also see that a have a HUGE problem with this memo.

Didn't love the tone? No big deal? Guys that had a problem are part of the problem? I feel bad for you...you're either too new to know better, or just blind to the facts.

Can we talk about how a memo on "professionalism" was released to us in a completely unprofessional way? The union was never notified. Pro Stands was never notified. The entire packet of "information" looks like the drunken rant of a management type who had a bad day and wrote it completely out of emotion and without intelligent thought or consideration for us.....its a joke. ALPA is stepping in I believe.
