I can only remember one 200% day in the recent past for FOs. CAs get 200% when EWR finds a cloud and starts running a 5 hour GDP.

Direct-entry CA in May: Will I be too late?
Interview on Friday for direct entry captain. Won’t have my 1,000 hours until May 2019 timeframe. Desire EWR. Will I miss the gravy train and get stuck on months and months of reserve by then or will fleet growth keep up? Also what % of the time should I expect to fly right seat as a CQF?

Put my stuff in 10 min ago for a DEC spot. What are guys averaging per month credit lately? Would be leaving a pretty good 91 job for this, but know that time is running out to get into the "wave" with everyone else.

From this post am I understanding it correct when saying that these 9 new hires are no longer considered CQF but went straight to Captain being above the 5% seniority problem? now that I type this out seems like thats impossible and you were simply saying they were awarded the captain spot in training as was supposed to happen

The company considers it the bottom 5% of the qualified captains. Until finishing IOE, they are not qualified.
The way the timing works between finishing IOE, designation of CQF's and determining eligible bidders, they may fly a month as CA before being designated as CQF and assigned right seat training.
With our staffing level right now though, it is doubtful that they will be used much as FO's, due to the shortage of captains.
