The most senior FO we have is 8.5yrs, not sure if the Chief will recommend him though. Have a few close to 3 yrs, bet most of them want to upgrade to a line, which they probably still can’t.

 That's a long time as an FO

Be glad you didn’t enter this industry in the late 90’s then. If you think 3 years is long....

Who cares about frontier flow. How about we get DL pairing that average more than 4 hours a day doing 4-5 legs for min pay

Expect this for the rest of your career at CPZ, with the arrival of A220, thats what DL have left for us which can’t be taken away by the new plane.

I have to comment on this, the Delta pairings are absolutely horrendous. Completely ruin your QOL and gets you minimum days off. Union has been stonewalled by management in their attempts to adress this. I used to live next to the airport in SEA and I’d rather commute to LA flying AA pairings than live in base trying to hold a decent schedule on delta trips, at any seniority level. I was 30% there getting min days off every single time

How's the LA side at 30% compared to Seattle? Is it really that big of a difference?

Slowhawk 03-21-2019 04:30 PM

In LAX I was getting 15-17 off at 25%, I was bidding commutable trips that start after 1300 which blocked a lot of trips but still enough to get a couple high credit AA trips each month. In Jan before upgrading I had 18 off. YMMV but I liked LA. Anyone living in base in LA is living the best life compass can provide if you ask me
