Hahahaha... don't tease? Don't make jokes? Don't post memes? Are you lost homie? This is the CP thread you're on. Know your audience, you're gonna get jokes on here.
Don't like it, stay out of our hood. Or learn to take a joke. I'd think after 20 years of military you'd have thicker skin.

You are indeed entitled to your opinion but I would make just one recommendation:

But those of us at Compass all nonetheless wish you well. If you are content to be a career regional captain at Skywest that’s fine with me - and I’m sure the rest of the pilots here at Compass. You won’t be competing with anyone here for flying time or upgrade slots or scheduling seniority so you’ve sort of taken yourself out of the equation here. Nor will you be competing with any of us to be hired by the majors, which really is what Compass is all about.
So enjoy your Skywest flying and enjoy your pension and your side gig and most of all thanks for turning down that offer of a major leaving one more slot for those of us who are looking on airline piloting as a career rather than just as a hobby you can get someone else to pay for.
We’ll even give you the old Compass double wave if we see you around the tarmac. Have a good life.

If you seriously turned down a real major (DL, UA, AA, WN, FedEx, UPS, and maybe even Alaska) to stay at a regional, you probably shouldn't be behind the controls of an aircraft.
But well played my guy. One of the greatest troll posts on APC. Thanks for the chuckle, Elder pilotpilot84.
If anyone has a problem getting through Compass' training program, it's probably not the training department, but the pilot him/herself. It's fast paced and requires a lot of studying, but anyone with a good head on their shoulders and who is a decent 172 stick could pass it. The instructors and LCAs are great and really want you to succeed. Just put in the time and effort and it will be easy. At least that's how it was for me.
Once again, bravo sir. Really well done.

Does he fly a "mainline RJ" at this legacy regional?
I kid, but honestly every training program is difficult and fast paced, even at "Legacy mainline." Once you've got a couple under your belt though they become easier. And everyone wants to see you succeed. If the extra sims and time are needed, they'll give them to you, but if they gave them to everyone it would dramatically increase costs and slow training throughput, so they use a minimum that works for most guys.
