While his interpretation was a little rough around the edges, it was started as a countermeasure to the SKW trademark Thousand-Yard Stare when we were nose-to-nose in the alley at The Nest around 5 years ago. Weezy’s typical move was just to stare straight through your jet as-if you weren’t even there, we developed the Double Wave to go big or go home counter the effect of their eyeballs burning through your radome.

This is the true origins of the double wave. I wouldn't call it a middle finger to Sky West, more like a compensation to make up for the crews who aren't friendly.

Thanks for taking the time to explain the double wave. I looked on you tube thinking I might find it but to no avail. Liked the history and the rationale.
