No.. our DFW CP actually confirmed it to me personally. I thought he was FOS so I asked her directly. She confirmed it and that they were waiting for the announcement before taking the next step.

Dude, GTFO. That guy has been saying it for a long time. He is FOS.

I'm not saying it won't happen, but the guy who keeps saying he is the CP will not be the new CP.

She wouldn't know yet. There are pretty strong rumors about it right now, but the ones spreading the rumors are not in positions to really know if it's going to happen or not.

Stop spreading these rumors, especially when CPZ just got a load of sh*t news. They don't need unsubstantiated bad news right now.

To the absolute idiots coming on here and throwing shade at my former CP brethren and sistren (), go back in your hole and stay off this damn thread. Nobody is totally surprised at the announcement, but sweet baby Jesus, give it some damn time. Save your sound advice for another day and let it mellow out a bit. I know you’re all giddy because you’re getting some more airplanes...we all get it, but S T F U for a bit. Go brush up on the benefits of a real union and spend some valuable time in that.

Damn, really sorry to hear the bad news. Only flew nine months on the line before moving on, but those months were spent with the best crews ever--absolute pleasure to work and hang with!

Hope everyone lands on their feet!

oh...goodness. I’m totally convinced! Look, I’m not saying it’s wrong or it won’t happen but you blood sucking Envoy types have been slinging this dung around for years. We get it, daddy AA did you wrong. Stop projecting.

No news about Envoy going back to LAX or getting the planes back has come straight from the top. That would be a joint announcement by Envoy and AAG, not an unsubstantiated rumor that some tool claims to be the new LAX chief pilot.

That being said, I do believe the planes will come back to Envoy when the contract is up. It is unfortunate timing for those at Compass. Who owns the planes flown for Delta? Does Delta own them or Compass? If they belong to Compass, are they owned outright or leased? You have to know where the value of the company is to see what the options are. There is no real excess capacity in the regional industry now so there is still a demand for the Compass planes and pilots. Hopefully for your sakes they will stay together.

From what has been happening I really wouldn't be surprised if PSA takes all your planes and LAX away. Envoy won't get scrap.

This is all incorrect information. Mesa is taking Compass,PSA,Envoy and Piedmont’s flying. JO is going to be the LAX CP

Sadly I have to agree with Dera here. As someone that would strongly benefit from getting LAX back, I have to say these rumors are just that. If, and I mean IF there was someone hired, they would be under an NDA and couldn't talk about it without risk of losing the position.

OT, sorry Compass folks, I know a couple over there and I hope it all works out for the best for you all. Stay strong and get your apps out.
