I think it must be an NWA thing. I had the same thing happen to me earlier this summer where I received a call from the background people before I received the official letter/e-mail. I don't recall ever receiving a congrats phone call. Don't sweat it.
Thanks for the info. The lady on the phone said the check was done, just needed to get in touch with a former employer of mine. Totally caught me off guard. Anyways, I will be patiently waiting by the computer for the news!

If the regular earnings number on your pay stub is any more than that, you must have gotten CA pay for something, if the number IS that, you should probably call payroll, they owe you that CA pay
well if $600 is all the CA pay i get for 50 hours in the left seat....i guess its right. all my checks with the exception of the per diem for training in YUL have been roughly $600....300 a week for an airline CA....sounds a little off to me.

Actually, yes. Although I was told by a mngmt pilot that you can still apply and if something on the resume looks really good you might get a call. We are only hiring F.O.'s now and the mins are 2500 / 1000. good luck...
I guess that makes our mins the highest for FO's right now. I doubt they will be able to stick to these for very long though. Many ppl not showing with greener pastures showing up.

well if you only got paid 600 dollars last month you should really call payroll, because myself and everyone else I've talked to have gotten paid CA pay for our left seat time in IOE. Also, are you saying you've had over 50 hours in ioe? What's going on with that? I didn't think they were letting people stick around if they were in IOE over 50 hours.

I'm done with the fed ride and line check but still havn't seen the CA pay. JK admits there is definately a problem but has so far not fixed the problem. From his own mouth he said I should have been paid the CA pay....no other explanation. I will be making some more phone calls monday. For now all I can do is hold there international test ransom. I have yet to fax it in.
Oh and I actually made the $869 x 2 = 1738 minus the taxes...but that is FO pay. Trying to convince someone how hard it is to pay bills on 1200 take home a month is hard though....It sounds like more than it is when you are paying bills...I just need more

Oh and I did have about 40 hours when finished with IOE...but much of that was there doing too...they took along time to schedule the fed ride. I asked for an extra trip and got almost an extra 20 hours....go figure

Default pay

Just want to verify, you said we get CA pay when occupying left seat during IOE. I was told you don't get paid CA till finished with fed ride. I hope you are right!

Alright,
I finally have some good news. I received the first (Hopefully many more to come) check with CA make up pay in it. It arrived via FedEx overnight. Maybe they did pay me ontime and it was FedEx that took forever......Na I doubt it Only 34 hours of differences back pay but That pretty much covers most of the left seat time in IOE.

Now for the rest of the time I was sitting during training

Hope everyone else is getting those make up checks with the back pay.
