Or they found out the Twins weren't even in town since they are in the middle of a 14 game road trip and were in Seatle .

Oh and the Yankees suck, and BoSox's will miss the playoffs too.

Even the great Mark Spitz loves the Twins and he's from California.

Its also a fact that check airman are notorious for making up rumors just to make things interesting. Granted that rumor isn't the farthest fetched but, like everything, I'll believe it when I see it.
