Does the tail number end with RW or CZ? Hard to see. Looks like CZ

The number ends in JQ, which is Shuttle America

Any airplane that reduces the amount of MAINLINE JOBS does NOT look pretty, regardless of what colors it has on it. I wish TSA would go crawling on some of those.

I agree with cbire880. Why would compass merge with comair?? In case of any merger the pilots have to approve and vote. Why would compass pilots approve that vote? It would be a great deal for the mismanaged comair but terrible deal for compass and its pilots who stand to see record revenues for the next 3 to 4 years.

What? Since when do pilots get to approve and vote on any merger?

Pilot's don't have a say in whether a merger happens of not, unless they somehow own all of the companies stock. If you're thinking the recent NWA/DAL vote, that was only a vote to approve a JOINT contract. It had nothing to do with approving the actual merger.

I'm far from jealous. I'm actually sorry that you have to fly it for that little of pay. If it got put on to a mainline certificate where it belongs, then you might actually get paid a decent wage to fly it. If each pilot groups keeps undercutting each other because of SJS, you might just get your wish for those banana's and smokes. You probably wear your epaulets backwards to signify your a "Heavy E-1 triple seventy" driver, don't you? Sad.
