Sorry for the thread drift.
I second that, that is terrible! My condolences as well.

Has anyone else received a call in the last couple months for an interview? It sounds like they are doing very selective interviewing to fill up a pool. Does anyone have any insight on what kind of times people have that are getting called?

By the rest of us, I can assume you're talking about me since I wasn't nearly as rosy in my outlook on CPS as CliffATP. "Grow up or get out," huh? So what exactly would growing up involve? Accepting any and all working conditions out of gratitude for having a job? Not giving a rat's @ss over how my actions and my acceptance of CPS at is it is negatively impact my chosen profession? Never speaking out when a fellow aviator is about to make the dubious decision of leaving a stable job building turbine PIC to come to a company that could potentially be flushed by flowdowns in a year or two, and where the BEST case scenario is that we're all still here and still being persecuted by the same antogonistic managment under the same crappy contract in a few years?

I ask you, sir: what exactly is so grown up about that?!?

There are too many people that have the thankful to have a job mentality. That mentality is the essence of ruin to this profession.

1. No the ruin to this profession are the pay to play individuals

2. Perception is an individuals awareness of the elements of environment through physical sensation

3. every one percieves differently so your previous statement of the "thankful to have a job" is on a case by case basis not a general consensus

The pay to play category is detrimental too, but I was referring to the attitude of being thankful to have a job. People being thankful to have a job and willing to accept substandard working conditions in exchange for that job is part of the ruin of this industry; this fact is widely known and not case by case. You remind us that people perceive differently, but different perceptions do not alter the truth, just peoples opinions of the truth.
