There is nothing about Compass itself to make it desirable other than those who are attracted to flying a shiny new E175. Well, I guess some consider the flow desirable, but that may yet turn out to be either a pipe dream or our worst nightmare.

This might not be the best place but I fly with a lot of ATA guys and not one of them is complaining as much as you guys. They lost their job and are now making 24 k a year. The know Compass could be better but they along with my self do not plan to be here forever. .

The talk that we wont be around next year is Ludicrous We are cheap and small. Management only cares about $$$. If our president is sucking they will replace him. Canceling 10-15 flights a is a small price to pay for cheap labor. We will be around by next year and probably be a little bigger than we are now.

I am extremely sad to hear about the FA. My wife also recently lost our son at 7 months of pregnancy and the Chief of MSP was extremely helpful. The way they treat our FA is horrible. They need a union with a voice.

Since you don't plan on being at Compass forever, then the terrible pay scales and work rules are OK. Did I interpret that right?

Yeah umm since section 6 is not until 2013 not much we can do about that. Complaining about it now is ok but stating that this place will close down by next year and stating that this place is horrible and no one should fly at Compass it a bit over board. Before you tell me to help out and it might improve things I do volunteer my time by making sure this contract however bad it may be is followed by Compass. I am not saying that this place is the bomb it has room for improvement but I hope not to be here when the contract expires and hope the pilots here get what we all deserve.

The folks saying Compass will be gone in a year need to be gone themselves; I agree with you there, but where is the incentive for single engine taxis, requesting direct or higher, and flight idle descents? Safety and brake release should be the top priorities.

agree Just happy that main door close and brakes release starts the clock now. A lot of guys here like to climb as high as possible and single engine taxi everywhere. Im happy at 34K and don't like to wait to write stuff up. We don't even get free food for our performance

I'm actually willing to bet that Compass, with their junior seniority list and other low costs, has the best chances for growth of any of the Delta Connection carriers, possibly at the expense of some 50-seaters at other carriers.

I will do these things ONLY to help out myself with more fuel. I like to have fuel in the tanks...more fuel is good.

With that said, I agree 100% to not help out the company until we receive some type of incentives or bonuses like management gets for better performance.

Mike, I will buy you a beer if I fly with you. That is the attitude!

I'm really sorry to hear that. My Wife is 35 weeks pregnant, & I can't imagine going that long only to lose your child.

Please accept my condolences, & I hope you two can be pregnant again soon.

Sorry for the thread drift.
