Just talked to the Compass ALPA President. He said that as long as all parties (CP ALPA, DLPA, Transstates and Delta) are in agreement the current LOA is entirely amendable. Not saying it's gonna happen, just saying it's possible.

So the last classes of this hiring push are going to be late December? How are the trips once you're a line holder? Commutable, productive? Do you guys bid hard lines or is it PBS?
Thanks |

How would this benefit Delta? How would CPZ replenish its ranks...street captains? I don't see this happening as there are plenty of applicants out there, just something interesting to debate.

The only benefit to Delta is they can do away with the flow agreement faster and get back to hiring their people.

Not to rain on your parade, but if working for Compass is one of your "dream jobs", you may want to re-evaluate your career ambitions.
Good luck! There is not enough room at the majors for the regionals to be a career move anymore. In fact, regionals aren't entry level anymore. Why don't you be thankful things have worked out for you? The competition is brutal right now for people who aren't prior 121. |

I am fairly sure that one could have a "dream regional" that they would prefer to work at over other regionals. Doesn't mean that's where they want to be forever. Lighten up guys.

What would it be like for someone getting in around December/January? Is that after all the hiring/classes will have taken place for these 115 flows or will it continue into 2014?
Are there many commuters from the west? Colorado or California specifically? I also know of a few commuters and with the all the through flights from MCI and SLC it wouldn't be too tough to commute on your own equipment. |
