We really don't have any details of the potential improvements, but some of the stated are: Increase in per diem, out of base parking reimbursement (up to what the company pays in domicle), moved up monthly bidding time frame, bidding for 1st reserve period, bidding for training dates, increased sick accrual, possible downtown hotels for long layovers.

That is just off the top of my head, really nothing specific as to amounts.

This is a big week for CPZ. A new contract and a new base will be revealed. What else, new airplanes for new flying?

Yeah, in the company wide conference call that was done on 11/7 there was mention that they would have a decision within a week about what the crew base plan was. It was mentioned that they have been studying it for at least the past month and believe that when phase 2 starts in March they would like to have a plan that would cause minimal disruptions to the company and personnel, but some changes will have to be made to make the west coast operation work.

Listened to this and it definitely is a "heads up".

What about better paid training? Or at least a hotel being provided for during training!

No word on that. I'm not expecting it. The applicant supply will dictate when they'll have to sweeten the deal.

When Compass sends you home for 30 days of study, do they pay you?
