Junior at first, but will most likely go senior eventually. I would imagine this will grab the attention of pilots on the west coast, and will create a flood of new applicants

So looking in the magic 8-ball, will this base be around for long? Does there appear to be a huge west coast expansion that will be around for a long time?

Only Skywest has had a crew base out west for a significant length of time. XJT and ASA had crew bases there for DCI and they were short lived.

FO's side is hard to gauge since there are commuters from everywhere in that seniority area.
Hope the flows start leaving soon to help soften the blow.

Agree it will go Junior, I am about 110 overall and I would be surprised if I don't bid top 5 in LAX. About 85 in MSP and 18-20 in the Dirty D. But I think a couple years from now it will "senior up" like most all west coast bases.
