Have you heard if there's possible growth in the future?

No rumors of growth...CPZ175 is correct, just a shift in crews. For new hires looking to come here, I would expect LAX base out of training, with the option to bid back to MSP or DTW after a few months. There are a few West commuters but the numbers are quite low. Questions on the new contract?...we have not received the arbitrators decisions on the remaining open "items" yet. It should be out most likely sometime this week with an implementation date around a month after. We still have not received any substantial guidance on FAR 117 from the company or ALPA and how it will shake up the pairings etc. I hope this helps.

Yes, pro-rated by month (so if you leave after 6 months, you owe $6k).

125% for open time pickup during premium window.
Paid parking for all pilots in domicile or out.
Attached day off on all vacation weeks (makes 7 days into 8 days straight).
Increased sick accrual.
Unavailability formula improved to give pilots at least one more day off in vacation months.
Long call reserve.
All junior assignment, critical time and open time paid above guarantee, even for reserve pilots.
4 hours of credit for each reserve day on a buildup line.
Increased training pay; bid for training introduced shortly.
Took a haircut on medical premium sharing, and 401k match. Both were awarded by the arbitrator, and both mirror the industry average.
Parties agreed to utilize same accelerated negotiating timeline and LOA for next round of negotiations.
I'm quite pleased, especially since the NC negotiated a full agreement (with the exception of the 7 arbitrated items) with TSH management in 11 months.

I have about a year left on my contract that I have at my current 135 gig and I'd like to apply to Compass when my contract is over. I just have a few questions about some of the terms being used. Could someone explain what a buildup line is on a reserve day? And also...how easy is it to pickup open time?
