You are correct. I guess I read it wrong

I assume you're not referring to CPZ, as our longevity is actually moving 3-6 months earlier.

Also, is that screen name a subtle Flight of the Conchords reference? If it is - bravo, sir.

Previously, a measure known as 'EDAP' was used to determine when your step pay increases occurred. That was based off when you (or the first person from your new hire class?) passed their LOE/IOE (I can't remember which). Basically, it delayed your annual step raises a few months.
Yep, the date of pay increase was from the 1st or 15th of the month (which ever occurs first) after the first person from the class completed IOE. Many cases it was 3.5-4 months after the date of hire. This change alone will be earning everyone a significant amount more every year.

CPZ policy on new hire FO flying a few 91 trips per month or CFI time?

I believe thats a negative ghost rider. Not 100% sure though. I do know regardless you would have to get permission.

As I predicted a few pages back LAX went very junior on the Captain side. Only 2 guys in the top 100 bid for it. It did go more senior on the FO side but I would still plan on most new hires and upgrade to have to serve time out there before being able to bid MSP or DTW.

During your 30 day home study it would be no problem. After IOE, things get a little tricky. They have been known to give out permission before, but you will have to prove that you won't break any of the flight time limits. That's not too hard when everything is calender month and year, but starting in January I think to show them you won't break any rules will be downright impossible. My $.02.
