Is the LAX base happening or is it in talks still? Would they hire into it? Just curious. live out this way. Would be convenient.

Thanks

Definitely happening, continuous vacancies for LAX! 90+% chance of getting it as a new hire, right now at least.

Get 50 more hours.

Thank you. Received an email to interview a few weeks but for the life of me have no idea what happened to it.

Our union and company just agreed upon a new contract in December. Any day now we are hoping upon a "date of signing", along with the official literature of our new contract. Until then, we are all anxiously awaiting the delivery of the new contract.

how long will it take for a new hire to attain a DTW base now that LAX appears to be where all the vacancies are?

Few quick questions:

Does Compass pay you over guarantee for picking up trips on your days off?

How quickly can you hold a line??

I hear LAX is now the new thing - so is it just going to be LAX, MSP & DTW? Or are there other possibilities?

Thanks!

Yes with the new contract they pay over guarantee

If you were to be hired now, I would estimate 6 months of reserve(Less for LAX and more for MSP) I would say any base would still be attainable by or close to the end of training.

It will probably be LAX, MSP, DTW and SEA. The SEA base is looking very likely toward the 3rd Q of this year.
