You must be mistaken as you don't know anything about me or where I come from. I know the Endeavor pilot group.. I was a part of that group from the day the 3 airlines merged. Just as you know your pilot group, I know mine. Everyone has different perspectives on their pilot groups. One pilot may think his/her group is amazing while another pilot of the same airline may think it's terrible. I have my opinion as I'm sure you have yours. In my opinion, Klondike may like the idea of Endeavor.

I sincerely meant that he should look at Endeavor. They are hiring and I mean no ill harm. It was a suggestion and a sincere one. You can put words in my mouth and "analyze" my quote but you are purely assuming you know what I meant.

I don't ride a high horse but if you're implying that I am chastising another pilot for his comments and then you go an call me hypocritical, you sir, should look at your own remarks. By your logic you are also riding a high horse, chastising and lecturing ME on how one should act. Now, lets just all get along.

My grand prize is probably different than yours. So please stop lecturing me and telling me what I may or may not have meant.

You know your intent with that statement. 9 out of 10 people would read that the same way I did. It was an attempt, and a lame one at that, of taking a low blow at Endeavor (and somehow impling that he isn't good enough for Compass but is for Endeavor) and then you proceed to give this guy a lecture on his attitude? I'm sure you "sincerely" meant he should look into Endeavor, no malice intended there. Sure.

I know my intent with my statements and you don't, obviously. Your scientific poll of who would interpret my statements is, well, lacking. You have something against me...you call me lame, a hypocrite, one who rides a high horse (I don't have any horses ) , etc.

You have done NOTHING but put words in my mouth. Please stop as you don't know what you're talking about and it's annoying when people tell me what I meant.

Klondike dose have a bad attitude and you're defending him...maybe you know him and can speak to his character? I don't know, but you sure seem hell bent on making me look like the bad guy when all HE has done is bash every Compass pilot on the seniority list. Now you insist on bashing me. You two may make good friends...some people aren't happy unless they're b*#&$ about something.

I heard yesterday that TSH won't be sending any more than the originally agreed amount of pilots to Delta this year. It sounds like Delta isn't opposed to it, TSH is the one saying no. I think there are 18 more letters that will be going out.

At the job fair in FLL, the two guys literally looked down their noses at me. After that, it was painfully obvious that I wasn't going to get the time of day from Compass. Hence, when someone else posted that they were frustrated at not getting a call from Compass, I couldn't resist and made the "Boneheads" comment. It's not like I still had a chance.

Quite Frankly, and I hope the recruiters are reading this, You guys take yourselves WAY too seriously for me.

As for the "Karl" Marx comment, there IS something a little strange about an American who uses "Marx" as a screen name along with a picture of the guy as his Avatar.

It appears that your avatar is more accurate than mine. 2 checkride failures AND an excursion? So... you lie, have a bad attitude, checkride failures, and apparently took a plane into the weeds, and they're bad people for not hiring you? I don't think you have any right to be upset.

As for the recruiters being uppity, I'm sure they picked up on your attitude, or had an issue with your background. They're very adept at picking this stuff up. Maybe you're confusing uppity with polite rejection.
I do believe he would make a great DO though. He definetely has the qualifications for that. Bad attitude. Couple of failures, and an incident. Management written all over this guy!

Just out of curiosity, how long are new-hires taking before they can get LAX as a base? How long before LAX peeps are holding a line?

That's there right, no use in getting down about it.

If they feel they have a chance at any new flying they will want to slow attrition as much as possible.

Most junior line holding lax fo is a 12/2013 hire. He only must have spent a month or two on reserve at most.

I think that you need to look internally rather than externally of why you're not getting a call. I personally know most of our recruiters and they are ALL stand up people!!!
