Nice, are you trying to prove this guy's point for him? Your implied meaning in your post is not hard to discern. And then you express your displeasure with his generalization of you and your pilot group? Can you not see the hypocritical irony in this? I wouldn't get too comfortable on your high horse, you are a regional FO, still a long way from the grand prize.
I sincerely meant that he should look at Endeavor. They are hiring and I mean no ill harm. It was a suggestion and a sincere one. You can put words in my mouth and "analyze" my quote but you are purely assuming you know what I meant.
I don't ride a high horse but if you're implying that I am chastising another pilot for his comments and then you go an call me hypocritical, you sir, should look at your own remarks. By your logic you are also riding a high horse, chastising and lecturing ME on how one should act. Now, lets just all get along.
My grand prize is probably different than yours. So please stop lecturing me and telling me what I may or may not have meant.

This is your quote:
You know your intent with that statement. 9 out of 10 people would read that the same way I did. It was an attempt, and a lame one at that, of taking a low blow at Endeavor (and somehow impling that he isn't good enough for Compass but is for Endeavor) and then you proceed to give this guy a lecture on his attitude? I'm sure you "sincerely" meant he should look into Endeavor, no malice intended there. Sure.

) , etc. You have done NOTHING but put words in my mouth. Please stop as you don't know what you're talking about and it's annoying when people tell me what I meant.
Klondike dose have a bad attitude and you're defending him...maybe you know him and can speak to his character? I don't know, but you sure seem hell bent on making me look like the bad guy when all HE has done is bash every Compass pilot on the seniority list. Now you insist on bashing me. You two may make good friends...some people aren't happy unless they're b*#&$ about something.

I heard yesterday that TSH won't be sending any more than the originally agreed amount of pilots to Delta this year. It sounds like Delta isn't opposed to it, TSH is the one saying no.
I think there are 18 more letters that will be going out.

Gutsiest move I've ever seen Mav- visiting my profile page to look up old posts and pull this one out. Anyway, you and the Mustache are exactly right. After seeing the snooty attitude on display by the Compass recruiters at the FLL and LAS job fairs as well as some of the uppity sounding posts by some of your other pilots in this thread I am quite certain that I wouldn't fit in your "Culture."
At the job fair in FLL, the two guys literally looked down their noses at me. After that, it was painfully obvious that I wasn't going to get the time of day from Compass. Hence, when someone else posted that they were frustrated at not getting a call from Compass, I couldn't resist and made the "Boneheads" comment. It's not like I still had a chance.
Quite Frankly, and I hope the recruiters are reading this, You guys take yourselves WAY too seriously for me.
As for the "Karl" Marx comment, there IS something a little strange about an American who uses "Marx" as a screen name along with a picture of the guy as his Avatar.

As for the recruiters being uppity, I'm sure they picked up on your attitude, or had an issue with your background. They're very adept at picking this stuff up. Maybe you're confusing uppity with polite rejection.

Just out of curiosity, how long are new-hires taking before they can get LAX as a base? How long before LAX peeps are holding a line?

If they feel they have a chance at any new flying they will want to slow attrition as much as possible.
