I believe that we have, but because of how training is structured, it is a pretty steep hill to climb for anyone who does not have 121 experience. It's not impossible, but it is more difficult. Good Luck, things here are gonna move quickly!!!!

I'm just curious if this is an acceptable practice. All my flight time is mil, and I've been out of the cockpit for a year (thanks, staff job) and I don't want my first interviews to be the companies at the top of my wish list, CZ or SkyWest. I plan on putting in the required study before the interviews, but I'm pretty sure the last time I interviewed for a job, I was in high school.

This is what I've heard, all the recruiters talk to one another in this industry. Take it for what it's worth.

The last 3 classes had a couple of non-121 guys (135 C208 stuff, 91 Citation) There was one CFI that just did IOE a couple weeks ago.

The meat and potatoes of the interview process is the knowledge exam and the cog tests. Also, if your resume is good enough to get you an interview then you're good to go if you pass those two tests. The panel interview with HR and a couple of pilots is a get-to-know-you and see if you're not crazy.

On interview day is there a place at HQ to keep your stuff while you are there (suitcase, etc)? Or are other arrangements recommended?

When I interviewed a few months ago, we just kept our stuff in the room where they talked to us prior to the computer testing. No big deal.

I brought my luggage and left it in the interview waiting room while I did the test and panel interview.
