Sounds good. Just like most of Compass laughs at you. lol.

I remember the same crap from you when I told y'all last September that Compass would open a base in LAX and start a bunch of West coast flying... well look what happened. ;)

And sure... I would be proud of an airline that has ZERO growth and ZERO assets. Not!

haha I was about to post this but then saw you already said it! Classic air101 quote. btw...has that announcement been announced or are they still sitting on it? I can't keep track of all the sitting on announcements.

I will still be laughing at you because I don't care whether your management finally decides to stand up and announce new flying. I am perfectly happy with what is happening at our airline. We don't need to be vultures like Slywest.

I think the SkyWesters are nervous we're starting to do more of their beloved west coast flying for Delta. (AA?)

No, air101, you're wrong. Us here at Compass are laughing at you.
You made good guess with the West coast flying. It didn't take a genius to realize that delta wanted to expand out west. You guessed Compass...that's like a 1 in 5 chances you'd get it right. Super duper smart aren't ya.

BINGO. They're feeling threatened so they get all defensive and weird when the west coast flying gets "taken" by other regionals. If it wasn't Compass it would have been another DCI carrier. They'd get all upset either way. Just like when Mesaba went in to SLC with the new shiny 900s.

Yea, so what's up with LAX? It was 35 bidders with 25 getting a line now it's 25 bidders with 25 getting lines still? No reserves? Not too shabby, one month of reserve in MSP then a line in LAX. Got lucky!

If I could move out to California and afford it I would do it in a heartbeat. The flying is great and a lot easier (less congested) than the east coast stuff. You'll move up fast out there as will any other pilot that gets hired on here.

It's ridiculous really. Especially the snarky looks walking through SLC. Oh well, I smile and carry on. They don't understand that it's not their flying, it's Delta's and it seems like Delta (and the California flying public) like our airplanes better.

I'll enjoy LA that's for sure. They can do all the MSP/LGA flying they want.3

I got a snarky look just this morning from one walking through SLC. I do the same thing... Smile and move on. And yes, it's delta flying and the seem to forget that. There's a reason delta uses Compass and the Embraer to do the shuttle. It's a better product and passengers know the difference. Especially the business pax.

I'll agree with you on that, there are a lot of people here who feel like we own flying. They get all ****y when I tell them otherwise. Yea, we may own a lot of the airplanes, but we don't own the seats. Without the CPA's those planes wouldn't be flying.

DashTrash 05-17-2014 12:59 PM

NO regional, flying under a CPA owns ANY of the flying that they do for their mainline partners. We are all hired labor!!!
