Yes, it sounds more like rolling thunder.

I wonder if it would go as junior as LAX? I doubt it would be very big and from talking to guys here in LA, I think most would stay put minus a handful of SEA/PDX/GEG/Idaho commuters.

On my shuttle to the hotel before the interview, I met a guy who had just been hired to run SEA MX.

Just curious how long it would take to hold a line in LAX? Also what are Compass' company minimums for upgrade?

Just need 2500 TT and 1000 Multi or 2000 TT and 1500 Multi. No time at company or in type required.

Don't forget 1000 SIC, seems to be our biggest issue with upgrades

Better decision, Bose A20 or Bose QC15 with the mike boom hookup and $500 extra in my pocket?

You would literally be throwing $500 away. I've worn both and the QC 15s are just as nice and much more practical since you can use them for commuting or listening to music in silence. Don't waste your time with the telex's either. Guys have their volumes set to 70 to hear anything which completely negates the reason for noise canceling headsets.

You can get a CDO line (continuous duty overnight) within a month. Great for vampires and insomniacs.

But about 2-3 months is the going rate right now if you don't bid a CDO line.

Previous 121 guy with 1600TT and 1250 Turbine (rough times). I got hired back in the day with roughly 350 hours. I have been out for the past year and a half finishing up my degree, I have recently gone online. What are the chances of getting a call before completing? Given I will finish around March 2015, I'd like to get in soon for the upgrade times. I have heard that airlineapps may disregard my application because of the degree preference, given Compass has the bachelor degree requirement selected. I thought the bachelors was just a preference, not a requirement?
