Any more details on new hire classes for the summer? Are they still hiring into a larger pool for the fall?

Don't know classes but the flow will happen again next year it looks like so it will be last July to now all over again this July/August I assume. Hiring won't slow.

Compass still holding firm on 1500 fixed wing even if one has an unrestricted multi-ATP and minimum multi requirement?

Thank you

I've always thought of Compass as the best regional, but I'm not sure about giving up an upgrade opportunity. Granted, things will have to go as planned here at Mesa but, assuming they do, I'm in a good position to get some 121 TPIC.

So, is it worth it? Is Compass like a mini-major that treats it's pilots really well? Will there be movement?

"Mini-major that treats its pilot really well"???

Compass is run by Hulas who gives JO a run for the money as worst(treatment of flight crews) in the entire industry.

It is a contractual obligation, so yes. I've heard of a few groups interviewing that were on the cusp of 1500 hours.

I agree, recently Hulas and Co. have been using the CBA as toilet paper and the arbitrator seems to be giving zero ducks about it. :(

I would say chief pilot and down, it's a great group of people. Above the CP I'll leave the proper adjectives open to interpretation.

25.E.6.b -- "Regular Lines will be constructed to contain a minimum of seventy-five (75) hours and a maximum of ninety-five (95) hours."

----"Yeah...**** that. Just make it 80. That way we can handle some scheduling issues without addressing our own planning and hiring and, at the same time, evaporate one entire line per 15 pilots."

----"It's... perfect."

What's wrong with Mesa especially so close to upgrade?

Mesa RAH and go jet have the worst contracts in the industry. Those are facts. Now if it's worth slugging it out for a quick upgrade is another argument all together. But I find it funny that people would try to argue that the contracts aren't bad. Queue the "all regionals are bad" argument from somebody.
