I agree, much more interesting flying by the sound of it. Just a shame it's not done at mainline. Still, Compass seems to be one of the best regionals out there right now.

Just curious as to why you say "ouch" to a productive 2-leg day then?

I'd just rather not sit that long, but that's just me.

Productivity-wise, sure, it's awesome. Sore butt and aching back-wise, not so much. But I'm old. :-)

The larger point though is you'll get everything from a 2-leg transcon to a MSP-MSN turn, often in the same trip. The mix keeps it fun but there's not a whole lot of what most people would think of as classic "regional" flying.

Cheers!

Also with the American flying...also heard that there was a possibility of accelerating the delievery of AAL E715s so that we could get more?
Doubt that's true either but just curious if anyone else in the know has heard...

I'm gonna go ahead and say that's not going to happen.

Also haven't heard that. 2 per month is quite the delivery schedule and AA is still trying to whipsaw their other regionals so the remainder of the 175s are yet to be determined. Don't get too excited about this AA flying quite yet.

No to flow.

No to additional/accelerated AA deliveries. PDT is going to get the 40 remaining airplanes, even our senior management has said this pending the outcome of their TA.

Let's please kill this rumor before people go nuts with it.

No they haven't. But I would be shocked if we got more.

Highly unlikely for current CPZ pilot.
