Looking at the map, it seems like more flying coming out of SLC than SEA for October. Any talk still going on of that becoming a base in the future?

Disregarrrrrrrrrrrrd

For AA: New York, Charlotte, or DFW

For DAL (in addition to LAX): SEA or SLC

Take it how you'd like but I had a personal conversation with the Head Honcho Brochondo.

Really, disregard? It is September right? Should I just stick to asking if I can get hired without a degree like everyone else?

I originally asked what map you were referring to-- then found the post with th map a few pages back. That's all, couldn't delete by then.

Hey all. I have interviews with Compass and PSA coming up. On paper, they seem comparable, however, Compass gives me the impression of having higher hiring standards as well as being a more 'professional' place to work. Is this real or imagined?

I currently work for a pretty awful regional and plan to jump ship to a place where I can feel a little more comfortable with the people/company.

Where do you live or want to live? Go with the easiest commute.

PSA wins there, but I can move wherever. Just seems like Compass actually screens its applicants. Imagine that!

One offers classes over the phone after a short conversation, one doesn't...

Back in the day XJT had one of the easier 121 interviews as well and they weren't considered to be hiring lesser applicants. I doesn't really matter in the end anyways, my opinion is most guys can get through an interview with a couple weeks of gouge study but most idiots will get filtered out during training. Again don't worry about all of the other stuff, both companies will provide quick upgrades so go where you think you will be happiest as that is all that matters. You seem to want to go to Compass so go there (assuming you pass the interview).

The phone interview is only for active XJT pilots. Airline interviews are dumb anyways. If you can pass training and get through probation without any problems what does a personality test at the interview prove? It is funny to read the hubris from Compass pilots though.

The CPZ gleam is strong in that one.
