Why did you guys lose that?

When the new contract was signed ALPA and the Company argued that the wording was 4 hrs of credit, or just 4 hours of pay not counted towards your bid credit.

In a moment of absolute stupidity, ALPA negotiated away all of it and instead got a min ADTG of 4:45. I think I saw only 4 or 5 trips all of October that benefit from the new rigs. Overall the LOA was the dumbest thing I've seen happen in a long time and company definitely won out on this one.

Hopefully you guys can gain that back. Any idea how the delta rate reset may affect that negotiation?

It is 100% our union leaderships' choice, which is hopefully representative of our pilots' choice based on our feedback we give to the MEC.

What do you mean by the Delta rate reset's effect on that decision? Are you saying we are about to lose our contract and/or airplanes or something else? Serious question, I just did not understand your question.

4:45 to 1 trip rig? Would have been worth it if you went with 4 to 1 trip and 2 to 1 duty. Yeah that was pretty dumb.

Idk about 2:1 duty, because the issue is the 30 hr sits, which aren't duty.

The company was more than happy to pay the extra 4 hrs on a 30 hr layover, they just didn't want to lose the productivity of counting that credit towards the monthly maximum of 95 hours.

We usually have productive trips, 30 hr layovers non withstanding.

I keep hearing about a delta rate reset, I don't know much about it because I don't fly for a delta feeder. My question is, if delta cuts the amount they pay compass for lift do you think the company will come after the pilot group for concessions?

That is towards Skywest Inc. kind of hard to reset the rates they try to get everyone to match.

I was under the impression everyone would need to match Endeavour rates. My mistake.

That's what I thought too. I thought dl was going to reset everyone's rate to that of the 2nd lowest feeder.

Are new hires prohibited from flight instructing during the 30 day at-home study? I need something to keep me out of trouble then.
