Why did you waste your time at PSA to begin with?

Prior military pilot with no idea how regionals or airlines work, but it seems as if CPZ is the best with the quickest upgrades. PSA doesn't have the best reputation and CPZ hires to a much higher standard. PSA's flight deck procedures are retarded at best. Nothing like I am use to in the military. Paying out of pocket for a hotel during training definitely sucks along with an LAX base, but all in all it appears to be a small price to pay with better long term options and a quick upgrade in a highly desirable typed plane.

I welcome all sarcasm but not preferred..

CPZ cockpit procedures are intuitive, a quiet cockpit (no unnecessary calls), streamlined and like you say "little ambiguity". Get over here to CPZ asap and you will NEVER look back.

How long will it take a newbie to hold dtw..

With things picking up again very very soon you could probably hold DTW right out of training. Just like when I was hired a year ago, things were happing very quickly and we could hold whichever base we wanted right out of class.

is DTW closing?

I'm not too sure this is accurate. The recent reallignments had DTW downsize a bit and with MSP FOs bidding DTW to get hotels and per diem during upgrade, it would be difficult to predict an accurate timeframe in which a new hire could hold DTW.

For the most part, yes.

Agreed not to mention latest company update included notification of a market study being done for a new West Coast base. I have a hard time believing we will have a Detroit base in a year...

Compass updates

So SEA and DFW possibly on the horizon as new bases?
