Pay is crappy and you have to pinch pennies for the first 30 days because you get paid less than min guarantee. Once you come back from the 30 day home study you start getting paid guarantee. I don't remember the exact amount of hours you get paid for during the first 30 days. You could probably find it if you go back in the thread long enough or someone else can chime in who remembers.

Yup. Been a busy month. I had 5 interview offers. The two I've taken I've been hired for.

Thx for the info!

So what are the odds of getting an interview without a bachelors degree if I attend a job fair? Been trying for the last 8 months or so, updating my app every week, but to no avail!

Not sure but I am guessing its more of a possibility these days. I would definitely head to a job fair if you don't have any internal recs.

Thing is I did 4 years at a tech/vocational school for my electrical license.... I know it's not a bachelors but that's got to be worth something..... maybe not though.. I may go check out the next one and see what they say.

Ya, try going to a job fair and see what they say. I imagine it won't be as much of an issue as it once was.

Any updates on adding another "western base"?

I highly recommend it. Are you at Eagle now?

As far as Western bases sounds like there will be another with all the hinting from management. Most likely SEA.

I am currently. Ever since I jump seated (actually got first class) a little over a year ago compass peaked my interest. It was hands down the best experience as a passenger I've ever had on a regional...(maybe it was just that particular crew, idk) And then they announced the LAX base! So I've had my app in for a while but haven't been called or able to attend a job fair.

Well if you don't know anyone I highly recommend going to a job fair. I know they go to most of them. I don't know when the next one is though. Also make sure you update your app often

There's one on July 25th in DFW, it's an aero crew solutions job fair. I'll prob go hit it up and see what they say.
