Compass updates
#621
Well, someone will chime in and say im crazy, but i don't see the upgrade at Compass going much below 2 years because most of the senior guys will be willing to wait it out for their shot at the flow. The bottom of the list will turn over more quickly just like any airline. once a year DAL will be able to swallow appx. 100 pilots as long as the list stays at about 400. How many times this occurs remains to be seen.

Almost Everyone that has been here a year is eligible to upgrade.
Company wide I think its probably about 40 who cannot upgrade at this time.

What does that mean? What requirements? What is the second bracket?

1) Been at Compass for a minimum of 30 months.
2) Are a captain.
First bracket - First 25% of pilots who flow now - roughly 100
Second bracket - Next 25% of pilots who will be eligible to flow 1 year after the first flow goes to DAL -roughly 100
CPZ flow is limited to 20/month and 25%/year.

I don't think they have started yet. They have said that with a 45 day training window and either a July or Aug start of hiring at Delta they won't start hiring right away. Not a good choice in my opinion.

I agree. 45 day training? I was in training for 85 days, and I didn't have any extra events or re-training. Granted, that was back in the sub-contractor days, but has the footprint really changed since?
