Everybody is happy to jump on the "move on" bandwagon. I believe he was just making a statement how it was at XJT. You should be more welcoming of people posting their thoughts... After all, it is a web board.
In any event, as an FO in initial, you are NOT required to know the CA flows. You do however need to be able to work through them. You are NOT evaluated on CA flows but, knowing them will make the SIMs faster.

While we haven't heard anything official from ALPA about it lately, upper management has been on record recently saying its canned. Nothing in writing which is unfortunate so definitely do not count on it

What's the parking situation like for guys based out of LAX? Is it free?

However... you do get company paid parking either at your domicile, or you can submit an expense report to get reimbursed up to the amount the Company would pay at your domicile and then park your car anywhere...
So essentially a LAX based pilot who commuted out of OMA could choose to pay for parking in OMA and then submit an expense report for said parking, as long as it is less than what the Company would pay in LAX they will pay 100%.

That's not really the truth...
That's everybody (except one) who is eligible to bid for May. People who finish their OE in the second half of this month and aren't eligible to bid for May, will be given build up reserve lines.
10 pilots per week were hired so, 10 pilots per week should be finishing OE. While they may not be finishing up guys that quick, you get the point. By 5/1, there will be quite a few reserves. They did they same thing with the April lines.
