That was my understanding as well. With the 90 day holdbacks, the 'June' bidding flow guys from Compass will physically enter class at the beginning of September.

The people from CPZ who are physically present in the early June DL newhire class would have been the 'March' bid flows.

Please correct me if I screwed that up. #mentalmath

Since April 1 we are losing 20/month through October 1. Everyone will move up at least another 20/month for the July, August, September and October bids. There is probably a few left after that as FlyingGorilla stated.

Dude, you did your research on the average day; kudos for that. That fight is over, though, and it really is time to move on. I challenge you to focus your efforts on something forward-looking that can benefit the pilot group. Best of luck.

Here's a quote I just made up that pertains to this situation: "You can be the smartest guy in the room with the greatest ideas, but if you're a wanker about it, people are going to tell you to pss off."

You guys crack me up. I said the new hires need to consider the fact that the 50 seat aircraft will be on their way out sooner than people are leading on.

And I don't feel better about myself by bursting someone's bubble. I feel better knowing they aren't being deceived into the realities of this industry.

I wasn't the one telling the prospective new hires that Skywest has 2 year upgrades for new hires.

There is nothing to predict about the 50 seat aircraft getting parked and the regional industry shrinking. It's already happening.

Neither was I.

The point isn't about any airline. The point is if you have nothing constructive to say, then shut up! You're posts are meant to discourage and upset others. Not to be informative and helpful. So give us all a break already.

We get it. You don't want prospective new hires to know the realities of the regional industry and you hate anyone that will let them know. Your koolaid must be really good.

My posts are meant to let the new hires know what to expect, not some rosy situation you like to peddle to them.

Unless you have something relative to Compass's situation, which I equally state the realities of, go back to your own thread.

I must be crazy as well, but I've found 404yxl's posts in the Compass thread to be rather informative and unbiased.

Move on from what? I am only educatng pilots about what to expect with our new upcoming situation. Are you telling us you don't think pilots deserve to know how it all works and how everything will change so they know how trips will be paying us in the future?

I can almost guarantee you we will have pilots confused during the switch over. The attitude that some of you have on here when I state we are not going to a 4 hour min/day option, just comes of that you don't want people to know that.

It's pushback I'm getting for trying to state the realities, that the 50 seat aircraft will be on their way out much sooner than anticipated, and the realities of the ADTG going away and how our credit for trips will change with the 4 hours of add credit for a non-working calendar day.

I'm just amazed the level of vitriol from pilots who don't like when someone states those realities. It just comes off that they want to silence the truth and they hate anyone that won't shut-up when they tell them to.

Can we please keep the riff raff and other pointless BS in this forum out of the Compass thread? Come on 404

404yxl waking up every morning and realizing he and no one else can do ANYTHING about the ADTG thing.

Seriously...give it up. It's not as earth shattering as you say it is and the fact that you think new hires need to make this a priority in their decision is ludicrous. Airlines have been doing 4 hour min day for a really long time. You must not have been here before the most recent contract.
Sooooo....enough already! How about getting involved in ALPA and making real changes instead of coming on here to betch about a dead in the water topic.

First off sorry for continuing non compass trash on this thread... I really did come here to see what was up with the other base neighbors.

50 seat jets have been said to be on the way out "right around the corner" for long time. A buddy of mine at endeavor said they are now pulling 200's from the desert, and Delta extended RAH contract on the 50 seaters. So weird... It seems it is more likely the 200's will all time out before they are not wanted anymore. And I ain't worried bout 200s being parked, it isn't a denial thing for me, new planes will replace the old ones and I'm okay with that.
