Most specifically, you have to make a listing in MYIDTRAVEL, get a confirmation email, then forward that email to someone at TSH and they will take a minimum of 3 days to approve it!
Oh... And don't forget to include all your credit card information in that email so they can bill you for any possible fees. Why don't I just hand them the keys to the candy store while I'm at it. AA flight benefits = unusable This ticketing practice isn't as automated as it could be, it's old school. You know, back in the day, you had to buy a paper ticket for travel on your own airline... Nobody called it worthless back then. The benefit is still mostly unknown. Want to know what absolute garbage is!? Our priority on delta, our priority on our own planes and, worst off, our parent travel on delta. Other airline employees can travel before our parents on delta connection/compass flights. AA has the benefit of naming a travel companion. Go ask a friend who doesn't have travel benefits of he would be willing to list 3 days in advance and forward and email to TSH with his CC just to pay taxes and fees!? I bet they won't say it's garbage! |

You have such a great outlook on everything. If you don't want to participate in the benefits, you don't have to.

On the other hand, if enough people do sign up and list for flights it might be enough of a pain for TSH to approve all of those flights that they have to come up with something better. |
It would have been nice if they would have used the Airways system instead. Access to WINGS to list for flights gave you much more flexibility. Listing at the gate for the J.S. The ability to gate check your bag and have it waiting for you on the jetway when you got off the the plane, PRICELESS! I'm sorry but the American system blows, completely.
