I'd really like to go there, but would like to hold on to my number at my former employer as a backup plan in case something happens. This industry is so full of surprises and who knows what will happen next. All it could take is a corporate transaction to screw a pilot group overnight...I'd hate to have given up a number and then end up needing it to fall back on. Has anyone in this position tried to make a deal in order to keep it? Perhaps extend the training contract a year, etc? Any info is appreciated.

It never came up during my interview. I was never asked to resign my number.

Our contract states you only have to give up your number is you decline a flow to Delta

I was told in the interview that the only people who had to give up their number were other Delta Connection carriers, because of the benefits or something.

Thanks for the info. How recent were your interviews? Just trying to get an idea of what the current situation is. Thanks again.

Both are true. MSP for one day to accomplish what used to take two.

Hopefully it goes to a TSA/Gojets style format. The testing gave me a mild :)stroke.

Delta Style

I heard that the interview was going to stay Delta Style as the flow is still in place. Until that changes, I would expect the interview style to remain.

The flow is no longer in place for current applicants. So if they're still planning on keeping the delta interview, the pilots are being ripped off.:o

Anyone know if Compass offers any kind of official or unoffical pref hiring for the TSA furloughed now that TSA owns Compass? Or is resume recognition done by a computer there? It seems kind of wrong how TSA has a whole bunch furloughed while the other holdings certificate is hiring. As is the case with Gojet.
