You can also call for early release and they are supposed to let you go if all flying is covered. I called and finished a RAP1 @ 3 instead of 6 and got home early, 3 hours less is nice if you commute!

Not good. Don't come for the bennies, come for the LA/SEA base, the lack of lifers and good movement. There are so many great things going on at this airline, but the travel benefits are not one of them.
AA you only get if you're LAX based, and I can't speak to those other than hearing they are not so good.
Everyone gets DL benefits. For the pilot, they're OK and obviously there is a JSA with everyone, but for your parents it's not great, you pay a yield fare/handling charge and parents travel as S4 with day of travel, even if you travel with them, essentially below buddy pass so careful planning needs to be used and avoid the heck out of ATL or they'll never get out. That said, I've still gotten Delta One for my parents going transatlantic, but it was off season.
We don't get any buddy passes to give out, nor can we fly confirmed for less, nor can you put a registered companion/friend on DL, just 'domestic partner/spouse' with proof. And for some reason OO parents don't pay anything for transatlantic, so I'm not sure why we have to pay $150. Something to look at when this comes up again, I'd say.

For lunch, you are welcome to bring food with you to the interview.
Compass Airlines does have access to the food cafeteria, however access is limited.

Should I bring my own lunch or use the cafeteria? If bring my own, any suggestions since the interview begins so early? Thanks.

I see that our DL travel benefit info says we have priority S3 on Compass flights. Does this mean that we are the "same" priority as Delta employees on our own planes? (ie Compass employees and mainline employees are sorted by DOH.) Or do we get any priority on Compass jets?

You are correct that we'd be the same priority as DL mainline and then based off of DOH. You will always have priority for the JS on your own metal.

I brought my own sandwiches. They gave us a break at some point, and I still went over to the Delta cafeteria to get some food - I just had to be escorted by someone, but, if you ask nicely, they'll take you there to get food. I would definitely make sure you come in rested, prepared and without having to worry about starving throughout the day.

Alright guys. Last time.
But what can a new hire expect regarding reserve and upgrade times? I'm torn between compass and TSA. Bases are not an issue. I just don't want to get stuck.

I'm sure this post will make a lot of people here mad but **** it.

Reserve time at compass is around 2 months.. If you have prior 121 times and trying to do a fast upgrade it doesn't exist anymore. If you have Zero airline time then it is estimated that by the time you get your 121 time 18 months to 24 months you can upgrade. Don't know too much about TSA at the moment but keep in mind anything can change at any airline you go to due to the way this industry works.

No brainer. Compass. No doubt about it. Especially since bases arent a factor for you as you said. reserve may be two months in LAX or SEA. MSP will be much more (but that is dropping fast as well). I was more like 1 month for reserve in LA. But thats becasue the first month after the check ride I was waiting for my IOE trip.
We still have 15 or so attrition a month. So all things considered, still a FAST upgrade. Airplanes customers and airlines like, and not just when fuel is cheap. Pay at CP and TSA is the same. Same parent company.
