Travel Benefits

So how does the "parents get flight benefits, too" program work at Compass? Is it so low in seniority that it shouldn't really be offered? What do they pay to fly?

Is the same sort of thing offered at Endeavor?

For both, can they only travel on Delta?

They pay a yield fare between $0.02 - $0.04 a mile and do in fact have a lower priority. I think that is pretty standard among DCI carriers, except Endeavor and maybe SkyWest. Not sure what we will get from American, but i have been told non-wholly owned American Eagle carriers do not get worthwhile travel benefits (see RAH)

Not sure what Endeavor has.

Endeavor is basically the same for parents.

Parents fly for free on Endeavor.

Parents won't get AA benefits on their current program. You will have to pay a segment fee and list via MyIDtravel, then your local pass bureau will have to ticket it. You wont have access to check loads. Yes, non wholly-owned AA benefits are next to worthless. It's easier to just jumpseat.

Sorry for the misinformation. My parents only use passes internationally and I forgot domestic was free now for parents.

Wrong again!! Parents fly free at Endeavor Domestic and International. They do (like everyone else) pay the international tax getting back into the U.S.

When does the 12 month, prorated training contract officially start for a new hire at Compass?

Can I get a solid first year salary (after taxes) guesstimate for both Compass and Endeavor at 75hr min pay for budget planning purposes, please? (I've heard of adding the three zeros, but I figure that's before tax, right?) For the kind person who answers from Endeavor, please apply the fat tax on the $20k bonus, too. Thanks guys
