I would not put much stock into Management and the union saying they want to bring back 200's in the 3Q. Just remember the 3Q follows the summer flying season and they still need to pad a bunch of new hires to fill the void of about 120 pilots that contractually get to go to Delta by the end of the year. To me its just more propaganda for the recruiters to use to sell this place to potential new hires. Also they want to make sure they keep pilots around through the summer flying season. I think somebody over at the C-tower is skittish about pilots bailing after getting the first bonus pay out in May. Why not tell the pilots 200's are coming back in the fall to keep those here who are on the fence.

Don't get me wrong there is going to be movement at Endeavor with the pilots going to Delta. I just can't see them hiring enough to cover that and bring back 200's. Better hire more then 20 a month if thats the plan and should've started doing it last year.

To the OP...I would really be hesitant to join an airline owned by Delta. I would be very nervous about how and when they will shift flying away from you because they just can. No contracts to break, no promises to fulfill. Richard Anderson has proven himself over and over again that he is ruthless and does not make decisions based on the feelings of the pilots but what will make the most money. He will sell Endeavor to the highest bidder and will therefore get rid of the bonus and the SSP whateveritscalled now. Their fleet IS shrinking.
Compass is the opposite of that whole scenario. We are not owned by Delta, we do have a contract with them (which makes it harder for them to take away airplanes if they so choose), we have a SUPER young pilot group with about 1/2 a dozen lifers so we are rock bottom cheap to operate. We have no 50 seaters and we are adding a ton of lift for American Airlines. It's a no brainer.

That's what a CEO is supposed to be like, you redundant blatherskite. Not caring about the past, I'd rather be owned by Delta than a holding company. And I would hazard that when Compost's pilot contract is up for renewal, they would merge Compost with Republic and you can enjoy your nil-negotiated concessions. And to prove that I'm better than you, I wish you're off to a major/legacy of your choice by then.

And there would be no other explanation for the 200s being sent to the desert?

'Compost' is so 2007. We prefer "CheapA**".

Those two planes were sent to the desert because they're older than the four newer ones they will bring back from the desert.

If 9E is such a great and amazing company why did Delta award GoJet 7 900s in February? If 9E is growing that is....

You really need to think before you post. Research rate reset with Skywest. Or you can continue to believe that Delta was so over joyed with GoJet's performance that they gave them 900's. How long have you been at this? You clearly haven't got a clue

Why did Delta try to get Air Whiskey to take 37 200s and they turned them down and now they're talking with Mesa about them? Rate reset also?

Nope, staffing, and I believe it was 24 200's with Air Wisconsin. Delta's plan was to have Endeavor only operate 900's. There's no proof that they're talking to Mesa either. If you have it, share it.

So why would they try to pawn off any number of airplanes if they're going to pull them back out of the desert? How long have you worked at Endeavor?
