Easy, new limitation on MTOW. Pencil whip that.

Placards are cheap. If they have to add the birds to a different certificate they'll be working with the FAA anyway.

So they can be made scope compliant with the stroke of a key.

They wouldn’t have to take out seats or anything. They would restrict the MTOW to 86,000lbs. The Compass E175s are grandfathered in at 89,000lbs.

The E175 is actually an 89k airplane but most scope clauses restrict MTOW to 86k.

Of course he’s not. That would give Delta the goahead to low ball him... it would have to be. What he would make over the next 2 years plus his initial investment back..

What kind of a deal? From how I'm reading this both of you would like to see Compass close doors and you'll follow the jets to 9E.

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but at that point wouldn't you be better off to apply at a Spirit or Allegiant.... make your paycheck match the paint?

I think its pretty safe to say there is going to be some kind of sale. The only question is where everyone ends up. The only way management sells out is if all three certificates are involved. Gojet to 9E, Compasss to 9E or Republic, and TSA likely to Republic. United and Delta management are so unhappy with TSH management right now they want them gone. The only question is the details of how it goes down.

I don’t know where you read that we would like to see Compass close it’s doors. I think TSH is running Compass into the ground. I think it’s either a merger with 9E or even Republic or transfer of planes at the end of the contract. Delta has already stated they wanted 3 regionals. Compass isn’t one of them. I’d welcome a merger with 9E because at least we wouldn’t be out of a job, I’d be able to go back home, and we don’t have to to deal with TSH management.

There is no way here on God's green earth that I will start over at 9E, as an FO with 2900 hours on the airplane with 1700 of those hours being PIC to swing gear and answer "what's it doing now" questions every 5 minutes. No ef'n way.

Which is why any movement of these planes will probably include the pilots. Once other major regionals match Endeavors rates, the crush of applications will be reduced. Why go to 9E if you can go to say ENY, PSA, or PDT as a street CA and a flow with the same rates? There's no guarantee the pilots will follow the planes without some type of merger/buyout.
