You can justify it any way you'd like, but in the end it hurts our pilot group and weakens our bargaining position. What about the captains that live in Seattle but haven't been drooling over their phone? Why not give them a chance to respond?

So true and in EVERY industry. Once people settle into a job they adjust and anything outside the normal routine becomes a gripe point, even in flying. Sad but I think it is human nature. Most don't have online forums to complain but we do! LOL

Try the holiday inn - eagan, Compass uses it a lot for training so there should be a compass rate, although since you wont have your badge yet they might be reluctant to give it to you, worth a shot though as they provide transportation to PanAm.

We also contract with the TownPlace by Marriott at the Mall of America. Shuttle to the PamAM and really brand new .

oh nice! I was in the day and age of no hotels for initial training and so far only used the Holiday Inn for reccurents. Thats a decent location to try out for sure then too, not sure what their price point is like compared to the Holiday Inn though!
