OO getting more planes is a loss for everyone except OO. If that's true and resulted from broken negotiations with DL then I'm wondering if HK has plans to add planes from elsewhere. Otherwise yeah they might get the planes in 2020. If they announce any draw down of DAL lift without a replacement then the exodus begins

An much as I like to read the uncontrollable OO Complex spasms, compass aircraft isn't a rumor here.

Eh, our crews try really hard and do a great job. The only thing another operator could potentially do better with our airplanes is maintenance. And realistically we don't take that many delays for maintenance, most stuff is just deferred. The exception being the "turn the plane on and get some weird error message that won't clear and some board has to be flown in from FLL" type maintenance delays, and maybe a bigger operation can recover that quicker than we do, but they would have the same issues with these planes. They're just older planes, sometimes they turn on and it's flight control no dispatch, that's how it is.
SkyWest MGMT has been pushing that rumor for years to make you feel better about your decision to work there.
4 out of 5 OO Pilots that I’ve met or know personally regret not coming to Compass. Our cockpits are better, work rules, compensation, benefits, training, and E-Jet upgrade are all better. Sure we don’t own the airplanes, but given how long anyone stays at OO (because they couldn’t take it anymore), that wouldn’t make a difference.

Anybody else thought about just taking the flap off the pivot case and leaving it off? Just feels cumbersome and adds a lot of bulk. I'm pretty sure the screen is just as well protected in the sleeve in my flight bag with or without it.

I'm sick of these rumors putting us on the defensive so I'm gonna start an offensive rumor.
I heard from my uncles friend who is high up at a certain 76+ seat airline that Alaska is getting sick of Skywest's Mormon captains denying alcohol to passengers and we will be receiving all SAN Alaska flying by Q3 2019. It's been told to all our new hires which apparently is provable in court.
