I have no doubt that they have bent the CBA to keep the planes moving. I don't think the trade you mentioned is nearly enough though. This would give the company a tremendous incentive to staff for the lean months and critical pay through the busy ones...harming the career progression and quality of life of of all of us in the process. As counter intuitive as it sounds I would reccomend not trying to negotiate for 200% when you pick up open time. Doing so weakens the unions position if they ever do decide to negotiate for something in exchange for 200%. Why would the company ever give up anything for the opportunity to staff and upgrade less if they are already getting it for free? Show a little unity and respect for your peers and pass on the quick buck for the greater prize In the end.

As far as the Lufthansa product goes, I was told during nine moth, from the instructor, that's it's on hold indefinitely. He said that after the disaster that happened at Gojet, Delta told us we are not to use it.

Not that it matters because according to the 9E guys, they're getting our planes.

Just an update on the FAI pay...earlier in this thread I stated that I had been paid the 4 hrs credit, that was incorrect. What I saw on my statement was the CBTS credit. It just happened to be the same 12 hrs owed for my 3 FAI layovers.
Looks like another email to payroll is in order!

Dito. I thought my 12 was for FAI as well. Nope. Also got an email saying they are STILL trying to figure out how to pay us... 3 months after the fact... Anyone else rather annoyed that we have to email and double check all of our pay? Email CS to make sure we get crit pay, email payroll for taxes, email payroll for all of their mistakes. Do we even have a payroll department? I feel like we dont. I spent 10 years at a previous employer, never once had to double check this sort of stuff.

haha those guys take themselves way too seriously over on that threat. They're conspiring to take over the world and to them they think they can. lol..it makes it fun to twist the knife and tease them until they freak out and call me a turd, etc.
