Compass doesn't own the airplanes. (Don't know about Mesa.) Maybe that has something to do with it?

I didn't think Mesa owned their UA 175s though. I could be wrong...first time for everything.

They own 13 I believe. The rest of the E175s are owned by United.

Working for the best regional carrier...how terrible. Sounds like someone who was rejected by them. I'd hate for Compass to start paying for our FAA medical, or give a $200 annual uniform allowance thats just lame. Or golden days, man what a terrible place, I am really glad Compass is better than offering us that.

Compass is a decent place to work, but lets be honest, we can make some improvements that will benefit those behind us, as well as the industry as a whole. So thinking SkyWest is a terrible place is silly, especially if we can all benefit. The problem with seeing another regional as the enemy is it actually benefits management's ability to pit us against each other, rather than the unity that is needed.

There is a lot to this. Compass is a good place to work. I've not regretted my decision to come once in the last year and a half. With that said, there are MANY things that could be made better. Not "jetblue or better" better, but better in a way that keeps up with our peer carriers.

Huh, so that's all it takes to be a good regional? I guess I've had my standards set too high
