In the original press release when these were awarded it was stated it was a 5 year contract. Didn't look for it.These were going to leave last year (very close) but obviously didn't.

"I feel bad for the FOs coming in right now and even the bottom 20-30 Captains. But attrition shall win all y'alls hearts back!"
Yeah..........so much for "hold any base you want out of training and 1-3mo on RSV" 😕. Any guesses on just how much 6 airframes is going to change that??

Anybody having any issues logging into Intranet? Wanted one more look at final bid before close but it won't open.

It is. So after we lose the 6 170s we will have 56 airplanes (I think) for right around 800 pilots. Other airlines have been plagued by staffing issues (express, republic, air wisconsin, go jet and others) which makes me wonder why we are getting rid of airplanes that are properly staffed. The name of the game right now is getting pilots on property and covering the flying. Certainly Delta realizes this..

Also remember we've had airplanes parked getting new interiors and others down for bigger maintenance items the past few months. Seems like we're already operating with 2-4 aircraft down. So when we lose 6, it might not be that noticeable.
