Actually the OB never mentions when the parking brake SHALL be released. It only mentions that prior to push the PIC will ENSURE that the parking brake is released.
This tells me that it is PIC's discretion on when to release the parking brake. Chalk another one up to ambiguity. Maybe they should actually review the language before they publish it.

When that main cabin door closes and those passengers and their livelihood now may depend on the actions of the crew; cabin and in-flight; the brake will be dropped. We will all be properly paid (loosely stated) as opposed to perdiem. If I'm making nothing but perdiem at the time, that would mean I was free to leave and go spend said perdiem. When that door is closed, it's a different story. Just my .02.

IOCC strikes again..
they tell us there is lots of open time today, but you go to IOCC and the FEB open time will not even open so you can't see or pick up anything.

I'm bored out of my mind when there's nothing to do outside in LA. I emailed scheduling telling them that we can't see any open time. No response. Back to Netflix.
