What're you talking about? If you start a reserve period at 0400 at 1730 you're not useable at all if you're not already at the airport on airport reserve. I'm not advocating taking off if you are available for use.

Maybe not career ending, but definitely would be a set back. I wouldn't want to explain why I got disciplined for knowingly disregarding my work obligations at an interview, if you even get an interview with that on your app.
I spent 3+ years on reserve at my first regional, so I feel for the guy, but I wouldn't risk it.
The industry is in a hiring spree right now, don't lessen your chances of getting a call or getting hired.

It wasn't in regards to 1730...it was in regards to Snuffalufugus leaving at 1400...cool your jets

So, more joys of this new system. We've under blocked several times and my payroll update shows a reduced credit each time we under block. Anybody else checking this?

has anyone found a way to list all trips on specific day ith some filter criteria? for example, show me all 3 days trips that start today?
or show me all trips that start after 1300 today?
we could do this in FLICA easy with the sort pairing function.
In IOCC all i can find is to look and sort open time

I'm seeing this as well. Payroll shows the hit. Under Pay Protection in iocc its always 0. I asked scheduling and they were completely clueless.

For all the newbies here, ignore the horrible advice in re: to playing russian roulette with your job while you're on probation. Do people game the system and get away with it? Yes, but, don't be that guy.
It was your call to pick this career and being on reserve and adhering to the rules is just what you do. Otherwise, pick a different career. You'll be at the majors soon enough. Just pay your dues, it's worth it.
