Reserves not answering phones? Sounds fisshy to me. How about the fact that when you call crew scheduling it goes to VM?
Imagine for a second that a reserve tries picking up, but the scheduler has already hung up or the phone says missed call. Now said reserve tries calling CS back only to get a voicemail box?
PS not theoretical. It's happened.

What does it matter if we pick up the phone or not? As long as we self notify within 20 mins of being called we are good, right?

So the routes are called East Lot and West Lot, but they both stop at our normal South Lot? Got it.....I think
Not sure why they don't just keep it the way it was originally before this pilot program. This latest version makes no sense to me whatsoever as you'll have busses hopscotching each other with overlapping stops....

From a driver: The new routes didn't work because United pilots were showing up late and flights were going out late since it's a long walk to terminal 7.
Moral of the story, the airlines and employers are the customer here. Only THEY can enact change...if they so desire.
Let's be like the United pilots. Show up at the time you always have. If the bus takes you 50 minutes to get to the terminal, so be it. When flights start going out late maybe someone at CP will lobby for them to go back to the original routes.
BTW: I actually liked the new routes. Yes, it was a little walk but the busses flowed like one after another. There was never a wait, and they were never stuck in traffic. Wish they could have just found away to get a stop closer to T7 for the UAL guys.

Agreed, it was nice only waiting a couple mins for buses rather than the usual 15-30 mins plus traffic

Yes. That's what really irked me from the email. He mentioned non compliance with the contract. Nowhere in the contract does it say we have to answer the phone. How about the multiple times just on this month alone that CS has called me when I'm not contactable?

Also, I don't know about March, but in February the reserve grid was wrong at least half the time. Maybe people aren't picking up the phone because they were assigned RSV 3 and you're calling at 5am.
