Compass Updates - Saga Continues

Make sure you know where to find your pulse. But no really it's not that bad. The written test is a little difficult. It's not really an ATP question test. More so on aerodynamics and jet stuff. Study the gouges on airline interviews.com and you should be good. Once you pass that test, the panel interview is super easy. A bunch of TMAAT and WWYD questions. Nothing technical. They consider the written to take care of that part. You will find out that day. If you get the "we will call you in a few days" answer, you didn't get the job.

Sounds like a whole lot of people think the IT person is the guy that actually formats the seniority list.

Not sure why people are saying Compass is sinking. I'm former xjt too and this place is way better than that dying airline. I guess a quick upgrade, decent contract isn't good enough, go chill on reserve at xjt. If a wrongly formatted seniority list is a big enough problem to ***** about online, then stuff is pretty good here.

I honestly think there's no IT guy. The seniority list was probably "dropped" on a random person walking by since the "old" person in charge quit. Let's face it, people are leaving and no replacements are put in place. Why do I have a feeling the awards due in few hours are going to be late and completely wrong again?...

Well, the award is officially late.
I hope our union is grieving this. This isn't a new PBS system, this is inexcusable.
Bid packages will be made available electronically by 1200
central time on or before the tenth (10th) of the month.
Section 25 – Scheduling
25-12
5. Bids will close at 1200 central time four (4) Calendar Days
after electronic posting. If schedule posting is delayed past
the tenth (10th) of the month, as provided for in paragraph
G.2. above, bids will close no less than four (4) days after
posting, unless agreed upon.
6. Bidding will be accomplished by electronic means only.
7. All schedule awards shall be posted electronically and an
individual Pilot’s schedule award shall be accessible via
remote access system no later than 1200 central time on the
day following the conclusion of the PBS award process (but
no later than four (4) Business Days following the close of
monthly bidding), or 1200 central time four (4) Business
Days after the close of monthly bidding for non-PBS awards

Someone please explain why we are suddenly having issues with a system that has been around for a long time.

Hoping the bid comes out on time is like watching paint dry, its lame and takes forever...Get it together CPZ, we are all waiting to see the miss awards

Don't forget it is actually late by a day +... We don't have much to complain about, which is good, but this has become a monthly annoyance

Rumor has it that the elite minds at building C have messed this one up bad. Don't expect an award today.
